BISON WAKILALA CLEAR WASH review

i bought this from sasa.com , after like two months of hunting this product, internet shopping does that to you lol , specially when the prices on ebay are insane 

imomoko has the two of them for a discounted price if you buy the wash+the essence , sasa never has the essence due to the fact that sasa has cheaper prices :3 and people buy them by bulk 

what do i have to say about this:


i loooove it ! this stuff works for real , i worship BISON products, and i really needed this , my ugly underarms now are bright and lighter in color , i haven't gotten anymore bumps due to shaving and it has a pleasant citrus scent  , it feels very exfoliating and invigorating on my skin and i can't wait to try the essence , i use this 3 times a week on my underarms and my elbows too ( why not ??) 


it has small exfoliating beads that leave your underarms feeling smooth and squeaky clean

looooveeee these things, i always been a sucker for bath salts, and all that sort of things , specially japanese bath salts , they are amazing

first at all i gotta say, i love all the products this brand has to offer, they have amazing quality and the prices are not bad , if you live in Asia ...but sadly i gotta stick with the internet and they are insane with the prices ..really expensive

the water :

it makes my skin so clean ,smooth and refreshed , because i bought only two i use only one cup ( i know weird ) but i just get one cup our some of the salt in it fill it with water and make kinda like a juice lol and then fill my bathtub with water and pour all of that together , but if you want to use the whole thing then by all means go ahead and do it  it smelled like roses to me i do recommend this 5/5 plus look at the cute little cartoons in  the back

MORROCAN VOLCANIC ASH

Mmmmm this one smelled like pure citrus, orange and lime and something else

i absolutely adored it too , but i forgot to take pics of the salt , is dark in color and when you put it in the water as well as the white clay you are going to hear a loud popping sound , but they smelled delicious 

and it has an elvis presley cartoon in the back :)

this one left my skin relaxed, smooth and refreshed too , overall they are very good bath salts, i will repurchase

POP popular facial cream review

bought this at my local Vietnamese store ...BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER !!! 

again , i go on and off in here about looking up reviews before buying stuff and what do i do ? i go on a shopping spree and buy stuff that i can't even read lol .

if you bought this cream and you haven't applied yet , well good for you , throw it away right now and if you already did the big mistake of applying it all over your face , go right now and clean your face and throw that crap away 

i read amazing reviews of this Thai cream online on how it clears up your face in one week ...i don't know what to say , first at all this has mercury , YES THE MERCURY ....1% ....i will not risk my health because of some bogus claims ..

anyways the cream looks like butter, and when you apply it it gives the feeling that your applying butter on a toast , except is on your face, it has a flower scent and that's the only good thing about it


i realized too late how bad it was ( like 2 hrs after i applied it ) and i read that it had mercury so i removed it from my face and threw it away >.>

next day i woke up to find out that my face was full of cystic acne ...and pimples 

THIS CREAM IS CRAP
and of course it doesn't say that it contains mercury on the ingredients 


please do not buy or apply in your face , seriously girls i warn you ...biggest mistake ever :(

second part of my skin whitening series

every time is sunny i use my umbrella to protect myself from the sun ...and people look at me like i'm crazy"

why do "y'all want to whiten your skin"? it was the question i got the other day from someone at work ... apparently when people ask me the secret to my flawless skin ( Not really so flawless) they get surprised to know that i using brightening/lightening products and that i am an Asian skin care products maniac they  always act surprised. 


have any of you gals out there gotten that question asked before ? 


well in this post i plan to dig deep into the reason why i do it  and why "western" people  and some Europeans find it "ridiculous" i tell you  i could say the same about tanning and i got actually proof that it is awful for the skin 

back when i was living in the motherland ( Cuba) we didn't get a lot of sun protection , first because the sun is freaking burning and hot and because we cannot afford sunscreen , so that's why we are so tanned, it is not because we want to , i can assure you that, my grandma knew home made remedies to make the skin appear brighter , like water rice , lemon , papaya etc ...and she was always telling me to use long sleeves shirts and an umbrella , but i rarely listened lol , i guess because Cuba is a big melting pot and we have some Asian heritage from china the idea of skin brightening caught  on 

This this link explains everything about why in Asia skin brightening is so desirable from a western perspective  but what i want to explain is why having that perfect porcelain skin , spot free, no hyper pigmentation and no breakouts have been an obsession of mine for a couple of years now 


it makes kind of mad how ignorant people in here can be to think that we want to be "Caucasian" , apparently us Cubans that have a pale complexion are not "white"  ...we are Hispanics ....wouldn't that make "Americans" that are "white" English ? mm-mm but anyways this is getting somewhere else ...
also if you compare women in Japan or Korea (just saying the most famous countries that have brightening skincare products)  with women in Europe or America you will notice that the Asians ones have a wrinkle free face and look very young and well conserved , this is due to the skin care but also the way they eat ( the food topic is for another post ) 

the reason why i find brightening to be so beautiful is the fact that it makes you look younger,and it makes you take care of your skin more than if you go every single day in the sun and roast yourself like a turkey ....i'm sorry but i find that to be stupid and dumb. 
I think skin brightening is not about looking "whiter" you can be black , but still wanting to have a glow in your skin , then you would start a skin brightening regimen 


when i first started to take care of my skin , i was actually looking to "whiten" certain spots of my skin because of really bad acne scars , but after i achieved what i wanted i moved into the brightening regimen and so far so good , a pale skin full of glow and rosy cheeks is something beautiful , an orange like face with lots of wrinkles that makes you look like a witch  is not ...


anyways remember that if you decide to star a skin brightening regimen you got to be careful of the products and choose well known brands,please do not get discouraged if you live in a country where tanning is the new "sexy" thing and they look at you weird ( trust me i know of this ) do research and be patient , there's not 1 week results and you will have to spend some money , but at the end is all gonna be worth it 


and remember sunscreen is your best ally

DIY GRAPE N GREEN TEA MASK

Today I had this crazy idea, I decided to "create" an amazing anti-oxidant super duper mask , and the best thing is the ingredients where laying around and they are so easy to get, you probably won't even have to go to the super market :)

what you will need : 
10 grapes or more depending on  the consistency you like your facial masks to be 
olive oil : just a drizzle will do
2 vitamin C pills 
green tea ( powder will do too , as long as is green tea ) 
rice vinegar or sake 


i call it a super amazing anti oxidant facial mask for the following reasons: 
grapes are packed with anti oxidants, they are amazing or the skin and have exfoliating qualities, vitamin also have anti oxidants and whitening properties, olive oil is another good anti oxidant and pretty good on the skin , green tea , hello ? i mean green tea is the king of anti oxidants lol and sake or rice vinegar has always been known for its quality to heal , sooth , brighten skin  if you want more proof of how good this mask can be look up the ingredients and read for yourself about them :)

HOW TO :
brew the green tea and save the water and the bag


in a plastic container mix grapes,vitamin c, get the green tea out of the bag and add the green tea brew and mix it all together , then to make it more of a paste consistency ( that's how i like my facial mask to be ) put it all together in a blender or food processor , add the olive oil and the rice vinegar and pureee pureee pureee

wash your face with cold water and apply your favorite toner ( this is important , because toners help to prep the skin and help absorb products/masks better ) 

apply the mix and let it sit for around 20 mins , so your skin can absorb all that goodness 

wash your face and tadaaaa!!! my skin felt so smooth and refreshed , im gonna be using this mask every single day , i love it and it smell delicious

worst foundations/concealers ive tried so far

ugh , these things make me want to slap myself , I've always invested in skincare products because i think when you have a perfect or your comfortable with your skin using foundations is unnecessary and a waste of money , concealers can help you but you gotta be careful and don't buy them at drugstores because they lack quality even tho they are cheap , doesn't mean they are good

before buying these products i looked up reviews and i couldn't find nothing so this made me want it even more

Time Revolution White Cure Science Blanc (Special Edition)

this is my favorite product from the whole range , its is amazing , its also the most expensive but it comes with 3 white patch samples as well as the lotion and the toner , in a small container 

this is the product that does it , even if you have the serum only and then apply this , or apply it alone , i think hands down , seriously you guys this thing has done wonders in my non so ugly anymore face 

the texture is creamy and it absorbs easily 

the container comes with a small pump for easy and clean use

been using it for about a month , all my freckles , acne spots have almost disappeared , i use it in my night routine , because i don't want it to waste in any way , of course i use it with the serum and lotion , but i was using the serum before and i didn't see as much difference until i started using this , my face has a beautiful glow and it feels smooth and the smells is just delicious is a light gardenia scent , the box that it came in is also cute and the little patches ...well it took me a while to figure them out but your supposed to apply them to the spots you want to fade and then put this thing and rub it until the patch dissolves onto your skin 

anyways 

i do recommend this :)

Time Revolution White Cure Super Essential Toner

like i said when i received the product above it came with small sample of this toner so i was able to try it , in my opinion it is not essential to get it if you want to achieve whitening results, it does work , but so does other whitening toners , so is ok , but i wouldn't buy it 

Time Revolution White Cure Super Radiance Lotion

this is one of my favorites as well, i got the small sample and i'm already out of it :( , it has that gardenia scent and it leaves your skin very hydrated and it does has whitening effects because ive been using it on my elbows and now they feel smooth and they have lightened 

Time Revolution White Cure Real Expert Serum

this is the first product i got , i was using it alone and i did see brightening and smoothness immediately , but when i started using together with the science blanc they worked so perfectly like tea with cookies ...okay maybe not like that , but like peanut butter and jelly ...well okay you get it 

it is good , and it smells nice 

   

so , i recommend the science blanc and the serum and if you have some spare change get the lotion , i saw brightening,whitening,smoothness and just a glow in my skin within the 3 weeks of using these products

DIY SUGAR/OLIVE OIL LIP SCRUB

So i been sick with allergies/fever for about 3 days now , and i havn't been able to make a new post ...lots of work etc...anyways my lips been really dry and flaky so i decided to make me this yummylicious scrub








what you will need :
1/4 teaspoon of sugar ( preferably white because is gentle on your lips)
1/4 teaspoon of olive oil , you can make this scrub also with honey

your favorite lip balm ( im using EOS lip balm in lemon )

get a small container and mix the sugar and the oil until it gets in a paste shape , then rub it on your lips and leave it for 5 mins , wash your lips with lukewarm water and apply your favorite lip balm and tadahhh !! easy stuff right ??

my lips felt so smooth and hydrated after this 

sometimes we forget about our lips and others parts of our body , so is good every once in a while to pamper our baby lips
