DIY turmeric and yogurt mask

so i been hooked on Turmeric for while now , i just love the effect this spice has had on my skin , turmeric is also called curcuma in many asian countries and also in spanish speaking countries and it has amazing properties , in HERE you can read how awesome this thing can be for your skin
HERE IS ANOTHER ANTI AGING VERSION TO THIS MASK 
Yogurt also has really good properties for both the skin and our bodies and it makes the mask smoother , but if you don't have yogurt you can add lemon,natural oils,milk or water 

what you will need 

turmeric/curcuma 

white natural yogurt ( organic if possible)

you will also need a small container and two spoons , one teaspoon for the turmeric and a tablespoon for the yogurt , and the reason why i say two spoons is because you will use these to measure the right amount of each ingredient 

add yogurt first 

then add turmeric , i always use about half a teaspoon 

then mix all up until you get a paste consistency 

your face should look creepy like this lol ^_^

i always like to wait like an hour before removing this mask , the least you should wait before taking it off would be from 20-30 minutes , it would make your face smooth , firm and shrink your pores,whiten uneven skin tone , if you have any breakouts it can help reduce inflammation and make them less noticeable 

One thing to keep in mind 

turmeric will leave a yellowish stain on the skin/clothes so i recommend you use and old shirt and to do this mask at night before going to sleep or something , i wash my face 3 or 4 times and the stains come right off , but usually i don't mind because i go to sleep after removing it 

if you want to see good effects, like whitening i recommend doing this mask 4 or 5 times a week , more if you can 

i always eat some yogurt while i wait for the mask to be ready , yummms

my experience

this is a very light non heavy lotion , and it makes my skin soft and refreshed , i love the smell , both creams smell like cacao or something , but not really overwhelming , very soothing 
my mom also used this emulsion and her skin looks supple and hydrated and she got back that youthful look , my skin looked the same so both the cream and the emulsion target mature skin , and i would recommend these two products to those of you who need hydration,elasticity and just that youthful glow into their skin , these would be really good products .


packaging wise these products are gorgeous , another reason why i love asian skincare is because of this :

texture wise here are the swatches , like i said before the 3 of them feel very light 

both jars come with spatulas 

bottom line

i definitively recommend these products, especially the cream and the emulsion , those are the ones my mum saw more results with , the eye cream not so much ..but then again each skin is different and each skin has different reactions so is worth a try

SUNSILK black shine seaweed shampoo review

hello people !!! heheh , i know is been a while , blame it on school  :) but i got a lot of products to review and my face has finally cleared up , new diy facial masks coming so stay tuned ;)
i bought this shampoo on my local thai store , and the number one reason why i bought it is because back in the motherland i used to use SUNSILK and i loved it

i been using this shampoo for two months now , and i got mixed feelings about it , my hair is very oily so i got to look for shampoos that are not on the greasy side , and this one makes my hair very greasy :(

but i love the smell, the consistency,and the ingredients make my hair silky and smooth
they have this shampoo for red,blonde and brown hair i believe , and i think if you look on ebay or some other asian store you might find it around $6.00 or so

it smells amazing . I would recommend this shampoo ONLY if you have dry scalp or if you are not on the greasy/oily side , i'm sure it will do great things to your hair :)

I think i'm liking all this glitter adding and pimping for the blog , hehehe , anyways i bought this like 4 months ago and i been using it ever since , the face shop is a pretty good korean brand and  all their products ( or almost all of them ) have a pretty good quality , the cheapest price on the internet in on sasa  and if you find another , please let me know so i can link it as well 

what it claims to do

how to use it

my experience

this is my first time using a "peeling" gel or water , so i can't really tell if this stuff works or not , but as you can see the texture is very watery and it has small pomegranate beads that help exfoliate the skin and leave it smooth and clean

 i always wash my face and then apply this on , i leave it for 4-5 minutes and then i start rubbing it all over my face , specially the areas where i'm more likely to get wrinkles ( forehead,around mouth) and then continue to rub on the rest of the face and neck , these little things started coming out right away and they are supposed to be "dead skin" ...

now don't take this the wrong way, i'm supposing these things are dead skin , but what if is just product ??? lol , anyways afterwards my skin does feel clean , so this is a good product overall 

i use it twice a week ,that's just me tho , and i recommend using just a little bit , the tube has a lot of product so it should last for a long time 

will repurchase :)

so i first heard about this cream or "treatment" on this video 



  i read a lot of positive reviews about it , so i decided to give it a try , i bought it at YESSTYLE and the reason why , is because in all the other websites the prices are cheaper but when you put together the shipping and everything is more expensive and less reliable

my experience: this is an excellent cream , and it smells really good and clean , very lightweight and my skin absorb it right away 

it doesn't come with a spoon or spatula so i had to get one of my own , remember to never use your fingers as they can leave bacteria on the container :(

i used it for two weeks and i saw an instant glow in my face it felt really smooth , and bright 

but after that it started giving me break outs , like smalls little pimples , i decided to give it a try two weeks ago and the same thing happened 

this is intended to use at night , and i would suggest using it either alone ( to see if it works for you ) or at the end of your skin care routine

this cream is made for people with dry skin because it tends to be on the oily side and as you all know oily creams are not good for acne prone skin so those who have this type of skin please refrain from using this cream 

overall is a very good cream , and i did see whitening effect , unfortunately it was not made for my type of skin
