paul and joe whitening serum review

Paul & Joe are best known for their makeup line , but they also have some awesome whitening products ,their prices can be pretty expensive if you live in the U.S , i think they have a counter in New York but don't take my word for it ;) i bought mine at DERMSTORE because they offer free shipping to the U.S
if you live in Asia or Europe you might be lucky to find a store near you
i wouldn't advise buying on amazon or ebay ...WAY TOO EXPENSIVE

i been using this product for two months , they also have the whitening essence , but i'm not interested on it lol , I've read in  Fuzkittie's blog  that it is pretty good though .

the serum comes in a cute little package and is very neat/fancy looking , but i don't like the way the lid goes with the pump because it leaves part of the pump not covered and it can get dirty :S
other than that the container is pretty nice

it has a very strong orange scent , because is a high vitamin C concentrated serum , so at first it kinda overwhelmed me but then  i got used to it and now i can barely smell it

my experience with this product is hard to explain ...i been using it to alternate with my missha white cure products so i can't say if this serum takes all the credit for the change in my skin
one thing i can say is that it does whiten your skin, and it makes it REALLLY SOFT AND BRIGHT
the texture is soft and liquidy , really liquid.

i guess i was expecting the whitening effect to be faster but c'mon is been two months only , so
i do recommend it to be tried ,but it is kind of expensive on my opinion

Likas papaya whitening soap review

this soap is been in my to-buy-list for almost a year now but if you look for it in the internet the prices can be astronomical so i decided to be lazy/cheap and wait .A couple of weeks ago  i went to my local filipino store and got 4 of them ( because the store is kind of far from my house ) the funny thing was that the part where it says whitening in the box it was taped , like if they were hiding the fact that it whitens your skin ?

where to get :
your local filipino store, amazon or ebay ?

this soap is supposed to help whitening your skin/body , the main ingredient is papaya enzyme , which is one of the fruits that contains whitening properties
i been using it for about a month and i can already see whitening effect specially on my arms , i been using it on my neck, underarms etc....
at the beginning  it made my skin very dry , but after the first week i guess my skin got used to it ?
i used lotion after the shower
the smell , is a very light papaya scent, this soap is supposed to be organic so it doesn't have any harmful chemicals and it lathers up really well

like all the other whitening products you have to be patient to see results .Overall this is a very good soap

SECOND PART IN HERE

there's two ways you can achieve safe whitening , and when i say "safe" is by not using hydroquinone  which can cause cancer and is banned pretty much everywhere but in the U.S .
the first one is by using natural remedies, and organic products , you gotta keep in mind that you need to use SUNSCREEN there's not but to that
here are some of the things i do and some of the organic products i recommend:
Aloe vera, apple cider vinegar, buttermilk, castor oil, dandelion sap and lemon juice are some popular home remedies used to lighten complexion and dark spots on face.
Apply to the face once or twice a day.

Honey & Almond Face Mask
Oatmeal & Tomato Face Mask

Use/eat  fruits and vegetables high in Vitamin C , but go easy on the carrots i heard they can "stain" your face with an orange hue if you eat too many
LEMON LEMON LEMON
lemon is amazing , its whitening properties are famous , and it smells amazing ( IMO) just rub it everywhere in your skin  BUT don't go out in the sun when you have it on because i will give you brown spots
ORGANIC PRODUCTS
i would say AVALON ORGANICS is one of the best brands out there , you can buy them at CVS and WALGREENS , i think WALMART carries tem too

THE GOOD STUFF
now to my favorite part , WHITENING SERUMS/SKINCARE
my holy grail includes PAUL AND JOE WHITENING SERUM
the link to Dermstore is the best price and cheapest you will get this serum in the U.S , if you live in Asia ...well lucky you <3 , Dermstore offers free shipping and is a very trustworthy site
and MISSHA'S REVOLUTION WHITE CURE
the only place i will buy the entire line from is MISSHA'S website because they offer great discounts/coupons from time to time

i will do a review on these two products later on

you can find lots of whitening products reviews HERE she is amazing :3

if you have any questions please let me know in the comments below , next post is about brightening
TOODLES

whitening vs brightening and how to succeed in both ( part 1 )

from wikipedia:
Skin whiteningskin lightening and skin bleaching refers to the practice of using chemical substances in an attempt to lighten skin tone or provide an even skin complexion by lessen the concentration of melanin. Several chemicals have been shown to be effective in skin whitening.

Well i don't like the term "bleaching" because that's not what i do , whitening/brightening ( w/b ) is not about looking "Caucasian" is about having that perfect porcelain skin that many Asian actresses/models have ( thru photoshop ? )
having a flawless skin became an obssesion of mine two years ago , and i didn't start practicing until less than a year , why ? because i like to learn stuff before i put them to practice.
is it possible to achieve pearly white skin like in the pic above ?
YES
is it gonna be cheap ?
Nope :3

Most people that get into w/b are those of Asian ethnicity and my kudos go to them because they love taking care of their skin and that's why you see japanese old ladies with baby doll like  skin and no wrinkles on their face/neck , other people need w/b ( like me ) because of severe acne or sun exposure but at the end it doesn't matter where you are from or how bad your skin really is, you should always take good care of it and use SUNSCREEN
and no TANNING IS NOT SEXY ( at least in my opinion is not )
SERIOUSLY ?

so you don't want to look like that right ? mk good choice

In PART TWO of this post ill talk about whitening and the natural/chemical better ways to achieve it

TOODLES :3

MISSHA BB CREAMS REVIEW GALORE

Missha is always been one of those brands that pop up to my mind when you talk about BB creams , being a Korean brand they have a reputation to maintain and a lot of competition.

BB creams are always what i recommend to use as a base, because they are blemish balms , most of them have SPF,whitening properties, anti wrinkles and healing ingredients , there's one thing you need to know the variety of shades in Asia ( which is where 99% of the BB creams are made ) are very limited so you might want to double check on the shades they have before buying them.

PRODUCTS LIST:
M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA+++ ( # 21,23 and 31)
M Signature Real Complete BB Cream SPF25 PA++ ( #21 )
M Vita BB Cream (Matte) SPF20 PA++ (#21)

these are all travel sizes so the SPF varies

WHERE TO GET :
if you live in the U.S you can go to https://www.misshaus.com , or ebay or amazon i recommend you go their website and make yourself an account because they send "secret emails" with amazing discounts, free shipping on orders of $40 dollars or more , coupons etc ...

MY EXPERIENCE :
Missha's bb creams are amazing , they have a very delicate flower scent , and when i say very delicate i mean like not overwhelming but rather clean and nice :) the original package ( not the trial ones ) have the pump dispenser  which is very sanitary and they always include samples with your purchase

the texture is great and coverage wise they are pretty good :3

i haven't had any breakouts , it actually helped heal any breakouts i had while wearing it

the one i use the most is the M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA+++ ( i blend together # 21 and 23 )

if you want me to reviews these creams individually please let me know in the comments below
